Can I take aerosol hairspray either in check in or carry on

Aerosals may pop ans spoil your clothes if you put in suitcase and check in. If you can get a really tiny one it might avoid confiscation. Or just buy one from Boots once you've checked in and passed security.

I always bring them on holidays and put them in my case in the hold, they've always been fine

Put in in the case that's going in the hold, unless it is less than 100ml and is placed in a clear plastic bag

it must placed in the hold in your suitecass as with all your shower/bath goodies unless there under a 100ml this is the same as for all liquids inc drinks you can however buy drinks after security check in while in the departure lounge to take on the plane because these liquids have been checked by the airport and are deemed safe however most airlines wont allow you to drink or eat your own food on their flights

put the cap on the aerosol, then sellotape around the join, then put in seperate plastic bag inside suitcase going in the hold.
What do you need hairspray on the flight for, surely you can do without from leaving home till you reach your destination or is the from Amy Winehouse lookalike ?
