Are there any plans to release the new Captain Scarlet on DVD?

Yes. As I understand it (via discussions/articles in the Fanderson magazine etc)  the first 13 episodes will be shown (4 episodes already aired on Ministry of Mayhem, what an absolute c0ck up way of showing  a new series! Ah well) this 'season'. The next 13 episodes will be shown in the Autumn, with the DVD's coming out in October. Ministry of Mayhem is ITV's Saturday morning kids show. It splits the2 halves of Cpt Scarlet with 10 mins of cr@p and misses the end titles off! Cpt Scarlet now usually starts about 1055am and ends about 1125.

Apparently they have listened to viewer complaints Tony and no longer do this (at least, they didn't last week!).

Thanks for the Info - October , from the sound of it.

As far as putting it out on a saturday kids show - even tho most people have watched TOY STORY , INCREDIBLES etc at the cinema , there is still a widespread attitude that animation is " kids fare " - and as for comics!

As far as the show is concerned its just so much FUN to see quality GERRY ( Exhibit A - Thunderbirds - the Movie )
