It's just occurred to me, if i watch tv programmes onlinbe like this, i wouldn't need a TV licence would I?

no it is illegal to watch tele and drive knobs
Dot - if you have ANY equipment that is CAPABLE of receiving or recording live tv, you need a tv licence.

If you watch catch up tv on your pc and your pc cannot receive live tv, you do not need a licence.

If you use V+ or Sky to watch catch up tv you must have a licence, both of those devices are capable of showing live tv even if you choose not to.
