Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

HELP! I think I am losing it. I am sure that1ac is Summer but that does not fit with 2 dn redplanet nor 3 dn Nesbit. Is there anyone there??

Many thanks Puuspuss and Catron but according to the book of quotations on Aristotle he said 'Summer.' Has Kate Mepham made a mistake or did you frind Spring in another source?

Confused, I have 2d Red Planet and 3d Nesbit, but they do not fit with 1a Summer,have I made a mistake somewhere.

10:57 I agree with Cricketer. The correct quotation by Aristotle is 'One swallow does not make a summer'. One across is obviously an error!! However we have to put in the wrong answer, which is Spring.

While I originally thought there had been an error, this is what Brewers Dictionary of Phrase and Fable has to say -

The Greek proverb, 'One swallow does not make a spring', is to be found in ARISTOTLE's Nicomachaean Ethics (l, vii, 16).
