What bugs you you can't do?

Is there anything you've always wanted to be able to do which bugs you because you can't?
Jogging/running is one of mine and front crawl as both set my asthma off and being large chested running isn't very easy.
Am quiet jealous of those people who can just go out for a jog or run.
I learnt a bad version of front crawl for my bronze medallion exam and ended up having a bad asthma attack on the times swim and my own casualty and a lofe guard had to rescue me!

Ask your driving instructor to explain engine revs and driving speed/conditions to you, then it will all make sense ! For instance, you are driving along - straight road, national speed limit, single carriageway, no obstructions, good visibility and road conditions.... hence max driving speed of 60mph in say 4th gear... then you come to a bendy bit of road, poor visibility, steep incline... you obviously have to brake (or take your foot off the accelerator) but since the road ahead is still bendy and steep and with poor visibility... by going down to 2nd gear you are ready to approach the next bend in a safe and controlled manner, rather than trying to go down into 3rd and then a few seconds later down into 2nd gear.... this will slow you right down with no need to brake and you are in the correct gear for the road conditions !
Oh, back to the Question... I wish I could work out the subtle nuances of Cat ....

lol Jenna... you only need to go from 2nd straight into 4th gear when you find yourself changing from a bendy windy incline up into a lovely straight clear vision of a road... so why bother revving (rev.ving) the engine up into 3rd and then into 4th a couple of seconds later if you can go straight from 2nd into 4th. It really all depends on road conditions. Modern cars have something techie called a synchromesh which enables you to block change like this and so long as you match the engine revs to the speed of the car, it's a great way of saving on brake pads and gear boxes ! I rarely use my brakes these days, I just take my foot off the accelerator in plenty of time when I know I've got to slow down for the road condition ahead. As I said earlier, get your instructor to explain what is happening and it will all become really clear and straightforward - before you know it, you'll be whizzing around, doing block changes and saving yourself a fortune !
