But I am 24 yrs old and learnt to drive when I was young, I dont drive as a normal occurance, but it was a bit of an emergency. What is likely to happen to me as its the first time anything like this has happened!!

You'll probably get off with minimum 6 points on your non-existant licence, 500 fine and a 12 month driving ban. (i.e. you can't get a pukka licence for 12 months) Let's hope you bf's insurers don't get stroppy and void his insurance or he'll have trobule getting insured again, thanks to you.

Hey knobbs, I wish I could tell who is new and who isn't. Everyone looks grey on my screen! Having said that, I still have no reason to think that claire isn't geniune.
Regarding claire's predicament - most of us have acted in haste at some time or another in our lives, and been wiser with hindsight.
And before anyone says "Well, we wouldn't have driven ect ....." - my answer to that would be, you just don't know what you would do if one of your children was ill and you felt it was an emergency. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and all that.
