Hi josaphine,
I think cooked in a terrine in foil would hold the salmon together better for transfering to a serving dish? Sounds very nice! xxx
Have you got a loaf tin for making bread ?
Agree with Sachs, it might not hold together very well with being put into someting firm, so if you line a loaf tin with foil, that would do.
Sounds delicious.
Just had another thought...what about those foil trays you can get ...exactly like the ones that takeaways come in ?
Asda sells them, very cheap and no washing up.
I think josaphine wants to take the salmon to the table served whole ladyalex xxx
Sorry, thought it was a terrine of salmon.
Actually ladyalex, I may have it wrong! What are the long metal containers for poaching salmon called? I realise now a terrine is oblong and layered!! Apologies! xxx
No worries, Sachs :-))
Foil trays, great idea! xxx
i've read it as a terrine as well, one of those foil ones should do the job, line with well with cling first so you can tip it out easily
