Very slow song, possibly sung by Don Mclean but not sure.

Any ideas?

Yes it was Don McClean, he released it on his American Pie album.

The song was about Van Gough. Thats about all i know...nice gentle song though!!

The so-lovely song 'Vincent' is indeed by Don Maclean.  Fact fans, it is not only about Vincent Van Gough but one of his paintings, 'Starry Night'.

I'm led to believe that Robert Flack wrote Killing Me Softly (With His Song)  after seeng Don Mclean perform Vincent.
