removing pop ups

I have a lap with top running windows 98 and have pop up blockers on the lap top, but there is one that just keeps popping up, cannot find its origin. Has anybody any idea what I can do to remove this annoying thing

It could be a bit of spyware which has downloaded onto your laptop along with something you wanted, so download spybot, run that and hopefully it will go away.
