staying with relitives , and what they have said its getting worse , its in a nice area ,but ethnic minorities are takeing over , hoodies taking over buses , mugging local people , what is going on with this goverment ? stabbings , no wonder people are leaving this country in there droves . do you live in london ?

but this is not only happening in the capital its happening all over

perhaps the government should invest a little more into the police force and judicial system and a little less in the banking system !

Hi Shanx, I bet you`ll be glad back to Wales and never want to leave again after your week in London.

I recently worked there for 6 years, coming home every month for a week. I saw the deterioration on a daily basis and I couldn`t wait to leave. I lived in London when I was 22 for 3 years and it was a delightful place, gentle, quirky, and safe. That London has gone forever and maybe that`s the way of the world, but how sad.

I live in London and have been here since 1993. I think it depends what area you are in. Things have changed of course but that is due to the fact as MsEVP said, it�s the way world is going.

As far as Johny5 comments are concerned then O would say that he is right about police and judicial system but I would like to add a bit more severe punishment to go with that. Right now our prisons are somewhat like 4 star hotels if not 5 star. And even important factor is family life. Because broken families or families too busy meeting two ends together are the root cause of these people having no proper discipline and training in the early life, and that is what lays foundation.

iam looking on this as an outsider , and talking to londoners , some of the stories you wouldnt believe , dont you have time to arrange a street meeting with your neighbours ? for god sake get involved , unity is a must .couldnt believe no wellie bins , still black bags , get on to your council you pay enough tax , and dont say i am busy working , we all are , for god sake stand up and be counted . well off my soapbox now , tomorrow is dreaded wednesday :(
