I'm having a nightmare with pop ups and things installing themselves, and i'm rubbish at computers!

I keep getting these things that Ad aware etc can't get. The latest are Ebatemoemoneymaker0.exe and Ebatemoemoneymaker1.exe. When i end the process in task manager it just re-appears straight away, and when i try to delete the file it says Access denied, and something about check the disk is installed.

Also when i click on links, a new window appears which is just a blue screen, and IE  freezes. I can't exit without going to task manager, and when I do, there is an application called Pop64 there.

Can anyone explain this in an idiot proof way and give me advice? Thanks!

Try going to start, run, type msconfig in the box then click ok, go to the startup tab and look for those program names in the list and uncheck them if they are there. click ok, restart, check the configuration utility box that pops up saying do not show this again, then try to delete these files. the best way to do this would be to do a search from the start menu for those files and delete them from there. hope this helps.

try this

Go to Start button, then Search option, then All files and folders and type in *exe* (star exe star) and ok the search and delete the beggars.  also...as peanut says but type in regedit and search for the beggars in the registry and delete any mention of them
