Colin seems over the worst. he was a bit of a sorry state this morning but not gagging. when I got home from work he was lying in the same place and hadn't eaten anything. I picked him up and we had a cuddle, then he decided he was a bit better, had a bit to eat and then wanted to go out. I think he's okay. he only eats dry food (the crunchie stuff) and I don't think he'd have it if his throat was painful. he's not quite himself, but he's eaten a lot now so I think he's on the mend.
What was wrong with Colin, Sara?
If it was a bout of sickness though, I'm sure he wouldn't eat his dry food. Mine has been sick twice in one day, since I've had her, but she actually went straight to her dry food afterwards, and drank her water too.
I think you only need to worry if they stop eating, or drinking. Cats are sensitive little blighters, but with surprising resources!

hi max. Colin was in a bit of a state last night. he kept gagging about every 20 minutes like he was going to be sick or do a furball, but nothing came up. he'd stopped gagging this morning but was a bit listless and very sad looking.. not his usual arrogant self!
I've never seen him drink from his bowl though.. drainpipes, taps, puddles.. ewww.. who knows what he'll catch next!
