Tony Cascarino and Talksport
This is one for Talksport Listeners. I learned that Tony Cascarino had left permanently (about 2 weeks ago ?) under less than happy circumstances. I have been out of touch with this story , so does anyone know what really happened?

Now, I'm no football fan, but when I have accidently tuned into this most improbable duo I have found Kinghorn yells at top voice to cover his lack of anything to say, and Cascarino would be interesting if you could make out his mumblings. Yep, Talk Sport listeners are due a change to better informed and clearer diction on a station that is supposed to specialise in delivering that sort of information.
Talk Sport policy seems to be NEVER to refer to any sacked or past presenters in any way and sail on as if they had never existed.
I was a little surprised at Rodney Marsh doing a stint to cover Alan Brazil ( Boozios! ) while Alan is at the Races. I thought he was a bit of a " loose cannon " as far as off-colour remarks went .
Incidentally there were some on air remarks that there is a Book running on Alan Brazil returning on friday! I think its 6-5 against and Marsh is povisionally hired for friday too!
They are going to have to change the trail now that Jason Cundy is co-presenting! King and.... indeed!
Maybe Cundy and king - except it sounds like a spin off from Department S ( Thats one for the teenagers as Hawsbee and Jacobs would say! )
