Glasgow is a tricky city for a night out because many of the really good clubs and bars are spread out, but for a concentration of bars head to Sauchiehall Street where there are Capitol ( which has live music, usually cover bands downstairs and a pub in the middle and karaoke booths upstairs, and its free!) or The Box which usually has bands there is also one of Glasgow's biggets nightclubs The garage here open til 3 most nights ( it can be difficult to spot as its just a tiny door-way but it has a big yellow truck above the door. This club is very mainstream. For my favourite club you have to go on to Bath Street (which has some nice quiter bars and places to eat all on a basement level beneath offices etc) Here you find bars like The Bunker and The Butterfly and Pig which is part of my favourite club The Buff Club This plays soul, funk and a bit of everything and has a really layed back attitude and almost feels like a house party, I love it there, hope this helps!!
