I have been accused of damaging someone's bumper
4 Answers
I have been accused of damaging someone's car bumper when I reversed back in a car park. There was a knock, but on examining the bumper, I could see no damage, but gave the lady my phone number out of courtesy. She has now sent me a letter asking for over 200 to repair it, with a garage quote.
There was no damage at the time and I feel I am being conned. She obtained my address by delving into personal records at a club we both belong to!
What can I do to refute these claims and what come back does she have?
