Busbi Memory Stick 2gb Problems

I am trying to delete files from my memory stick, the following appears: Cannot delete file: cannot read from the source file or disk. When I try to format it the following appears: Windows cannot format this drive. Quit any disk utilities or other programs that are using this drive, and make sure that no window is displaying the contents of the drive. Then try formatting again.

try removing it, closing everything down, then re-inserting it.

I have tried all that and it is still the same.

sounds knackered then, had similar problem with my 4gb stick a while ago. despite manufacturers claims of how many times they can be re-written they always seem to screw up a lot sooner. Morrisons are selling 4gb Sandisc memory sticks for a tenner
