no thanks i want to keep it
The "Evergreen Expert" says you should cut off the flowering stems in late autumn and in early spring cut away the dead leaves.  Good luck!

thankyou

we had a pampas about 3/4 your size and every year after the flowering season and finished my father used to cut it right back and as "dosset" said earlier  burn it..

It burns right back to the ground, but i can assure you will come back as the roots are very deep rooted.. this mimics what happens in nature on the Pampas.. after a  severe dry spell and bush fires..
