Morning Glory

I have a beautiful Morning Glory which has been happily growing outside and producing loads of flowers. I know it is an annual, but what will happen to it if I take it into the conservatory for the winter. Will it just die or is there something I can do so it will overwinter and can go outside again next summer?

As there are quite a lot of plants which are called 'Morning Glory', I thought I had better post this.

I shall definitely be growing them from seed for next year, but would love it if I could get this one to survive the winter!!

some annuals such as antirrhinums do survive the winter. ipomoeas are supposed to die and I believe they are only half hardy. You can give it a chance indoors in a frost free place. Don't water too much. They are very easy to grow from seed.

Thank you Tallulah. I have collected some of the seeds and am going to plant them in pots indoors for transplanting out, as well as leaving some on the plant and hoping that some seed themselves.

When shall I plant them in their pots?
