Resolution too low

I cannot download a Canon digital camera's CD software onto my little laptop because the resolution is too low. The highest I can make it is 1024 X 600. Is there anyway I can get round this?

I would suggest you use a different software solution, if you just want to move the pictures on to the little laptop for storage then just copy them off the card onto the laptop. If you want to do other things then looks for a product that will work with your resolution, photo shop springs to mind.

Thank you for your reply. I have already done what you suggest, and it works fine, but what I really wanted to know was if there was a way round the low resolution problem.
