Little fun things from the Early Learning centre, or similar, for them ?
Big girls always like those small travel sizes of quality shower gel etc, so I get a Molton Brown selection from QVC. I'm afraid I've never cracked the ideal "man gift" ...
Alternatively, wrap up a small git for everyone. You're bound to find one at the table : ))))) sorry, I love typos !!!

We had great fun one year with the cards from a game called Humm Bug, you don't need to set the full game up, just place a few cards on each place setting. http://www.games-collector.com/games-h/204157- hummbug-1990s.htm
Or to update it you could think of your own and do printed lists of songs for all the appropriate ages, that way you can include nursery rhymes, we done it this way for a party where more teenagers were going. Basically you have to humm only the song tunes and people have to guess the title. Very easy to set up and creates loads of laughs.

Maybe this will help with an idea for ya, one year I got some soapstone peices and carved out 'like a cup' in them, and flattened out the bottoms (so they were leval when you sat them down). Then got relativly cheap little plants and planted them in the soapstone. To keep the stones looking nice I got some cooking oil and an old rag, and just wiped them over with it. To add alittle flare to this, you can add ribbon, star foil, little christmas figurenes, ect.... GL
