Has anyone heard of or had dealings with a firm called Nationwide Auctioneers of Manchester (or suspect they know of them under a different name)?

Our local free newspaper has a large advert for them this weekend with a one-day sale at a hotel - watches, diamond rings (designed to be sold aboard Queen Mary 2!!) wine & spirits, Fine Art etc.

I am normally very suspicious of this sort of set-up but perhaps I am being too cautious.

remember the old saying ''if it looks too good to be true........it always is!'' we're facing a worldwide economic crisis so expect diamonds, jewelry ect to go up in price not down! be a wise man and invest in the one thing that'll never let you down.........BEER!

Well known scam - avoid.

And they'll probably charge you to get in as well. Follow the advice of previous a'bankers, avoid at all costs.
