Out of the three suspects, one had a separate trial to the other two fearing being scapegoated by the other two.

The first one was found guilty and jailed for 30 years last night.

Do do think this will have an unfairly prejudicial effect on the trial of the other two, should there have been separate trials, if separate trials, should they have been held concurrently.

Am interested in people's views on this.

I think they should have tried them all together - this cannot help but predjudice any jury hearing any evidence in the trials of the other two accused.
