If you can, please take a look at this site, and buy a Poppy please, from a shop or seller.

Many Thanks.

lonnie look at my question in chatterbank
Sure will, Lonnie.
I have to say, Lonnie, that the site which you posted falls flat for me because of its inexplicable ignoring of the number of casualties sustained during WWI.
Have to agree with stewey.
Why not include WW1?
I know it's nothing to do with you Lonnie, but a bit disappointed that WW1 was not included. x
We always buy a poppy & remember them Lonnie.

Like the others - quite disappointed that WW1 isn't included on that website - I wonder why?

However, I will always think of my dear Grandad J, buried in Ypres 1914 -1918. -xx-

Certainly will puddicat.
Must say, I rarely visit CB, but on this occasion I will.

stewey, cruella and smudge, thanks for your replies, and yes, I noticed that too, last year I posted the same link, and it was on then.

This is pure speculation, but it could be because there's now only one surviver of that war left.
If thats the case, and as I said, i'm only speculating, tthey are wrong, because there are still families of people (like you smudge) who lost loved ones in that war.
Hi Lonnie, hope you & yours are well.

I've just emailed that website to ask why WW1 isn't mentioned on it.

I'll let you know if I receive a reply.

Take care, Smudge.
