Pug 306 Vibration on acceleration

My Pug 306 dturbo vibrates badly on acceleration at roughly 50mph in 4th and 60mph in fifth. Could it be the driveshafts and if so which joint? Any other ideas?
All help gratefully received as I dont want to buy the wrong bit unnecessarily

Pos Turbo Bearings, Wheels out of balance (Have you hit a kirb? If so wheel either bent or you have knocked the weight off, Are the tyre Pressures right? Is there a wheel out of track? have you changed the tyres? are they the right size each side of the car?

Had the same problem with my Megane. Vibration would come in at around 50mph in 4th gear as you accelerate. If you take your foot off the accelerator the vibration would then stop. This was due to the driveshaft (inner joint usually causes this problem). The whole driveshaft assembly (offside in my case) was replaced and the vibration has stopped. The driveshaft assembly comes as one complete unit which includes the inner and outer joint. The cost was about �60 parts and one hours labour at �30.

After the replacement the car runs smoother at all speeds. I think that the 50mph marker is just the point where it becomes much more noticable.

If a wheel was buckled it wouldn't just happen on accelerating but be noticable when just coasting as well.

Thanks guys . . . i suspected the joints and was hoping someone else had the same to confirm it . . unfortunately driveshafts for pug 306 are around the �100 mark! unless anyone knows different . . . that is
