Why?

Please explain....!!!
Most hunters are concerned about the environment, as they preserve the habitat that the prey live & breed in.

Prince charles hunts or has done so, he was in the press raising concerns over the wider environment, ( re: climate change,) so to use an animals environment for amateur sport is acceptable although for man to use/pollute the environment for his fellow human/animals in other instances is not?
Question Author
preservation for the purpose of the hunt?
If it wasn't for hunting a lot of habitat would be lost. eg grouse moors.

It would seem to me that only townies are anti hunting.

Ask farmers what the foxes do to their chickens.....!!!

For fun....
Ive been on the hunt many a time.Apart from damaged or bruised pride at the knockbacks received Ive in general not been hurt.

Slightly embarrassed or miffed , never hurt tho.

And occasionally pleasantly surprised ; 0)

to change tack, animal welfare;
beyond aesthetics?
above cosmetics?
Huh???
A fox doesn't kill for fun....

It's a foxes nature to kill as much as it can, then it will- if left undisturbed return later to collect its other kills. It's only the fact that these kills get discovered in the meatime that we believe that they kill for the fun of it.
Shut up you BOO you politician.... :-)

Yes, true....but they cause serious damage. I don't agree with them being ripped apart as they were but I do agree with hunts.
Ummm. I've no problem with fox hunting as long as it's done humanely,ie with a gun. Not being chased to near exhaustion with a pack of hounds. And there is really no excuse for stag hunting with hounds.
a pack of foxes (one years brood) can wipe out a poultry farm in a night. How can you have your 'organic' eggs & poultry with fox-eradication restrictions?

China doesn't abide by above laws, hence most is imported from there......at our peril.
Terambulan. Foxes don't hunt in packs. They are solitary animals, they only come together in the breeding season.
oh this has turned into a for hunting and against hasn't it. i can proudly say i am AGAINST HUNTING.
