I went to see them at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, last night. It was very funny apart from one bit which I thought was extremely inappropriate in light of whats been happening in the country over the last few years.
The sketch involved 2 overweight ladies from Devon going to live in Florida and all food and drink items being in larger portions than in the UK. Anyway, at the end of the sketch they said that in order to live in Florida they had to purchase a rifle to keep certain people away from their home. The rifle (real one) was brought out by Jen where she proceeded to appear to shoot someone trespassing on their property. There were a few gasps from the audience when they brought the rifle out.
Is it Ok to do a comedy sketch using a real rifle (well it looked very real to me) but to offend someone on radio is a sackable offence?
