right,when i want to compose an email say beginning with the letter a, there is about 4 email addresses begining with that letter i dont want anymore. how do i delete them. is that clear enough for you

Thank you... a little clearer, you still failed to mention what email software your using, but I'll take a guess that it's web based mail... in which case..

When the extra addresses appear press the down arrow to highlight the one you want to delete and press the delete key
