IQ tests only measure the level of intelligence, i.e the ability to think things through and work out the answer. Nothing to do with the level of actual knowledge a person has. A high level of knowledge general or specific, is the total sum of a persons retained learning, which can be of a very high level, and yet they can have a low score based on the criteria used for intelligence tests.
