If the court orders that my house is to be repossessed by the building society, who am I supposed to give the keys back to ? The court ?? The Building Society ? and is there a specific way I have to do this (eg, registered post, hand it over to the nearest branch ??) Thanks for any answers/

Normally there will be a date and time for the actual repossession when the bailiffs come to get the keys and take possession.

If you want to give them in beforehand, contact whoever is dealing with the repossession for the lender and make arrangements with them.

thank you for the info. The building society were very unhelpful !!! Apparently the best thing for me to do is to send the keys back to the BS via registered post or back to the BS in person and get someone to sign to acknowledge receipt. I've been told that if it gets referred to the bailiffs there will be additional charges of approx 120 which would be added to the mortgage debt. Best wishes and thanks again.
