X Factor - Farce Factor more like.....

Is anyone, like me, getting totally dis-illusioned with X Factor. I am beginning to think more and more that it is fixed. WHY OH WHY did Austin get voted off? I had tipped him to win. There are much weaker performers than him, Daniel, Euogheiuuieoiueeioin (Owen), was particularly weak on Saturday. Rachel is just scary. Owen (or however you spell it) sang so many flat notes on Saturday yet the judges said he was brilliant. I'm thinking of taking my TV in for repair cos they either the sound settings are shot or they were listening to a different song to me.
What do you think...????

Will Young was brill. I voted for him too Loftie, so don't feel quite so bad. He has an amazing talent. Did you hear him live in session on Radio2 with Ken Bruce a few weeks ago. He was superb, he really can sing and is an entertainer. Leona also was a worthy winner. Apart from tjhose 2 I can't really think that any other has made good. Whether you're a Will fan or not you surely cannot deny his talent.

What I wanna know is, why on a singing comp, did they mime when they sung their new single...

I have seen him live debbz1969 and he was a terrific entertaine. He can dance as well. I will always be a fan of Will - a really nice bloke too.

Unfortunately I didn't hear him with Ken Bruce. I loved him in the film 'Mrs Henderson Presents' with Judy Dench.

Robbie - it was obvious that they were miming the Heroes song. Apart from the fact that 2 of them were missing from the stage and their voices were still on the track, their lip syncing was cr*p.

I will always remain a firm fan of Will a truly versatile and talented young man.

Funnily enough Austin reminded me off him and I think we will hear a lot from him in the future. Watch this space.

No knowledge. We can't all think the same can we. What Simon Cowell thinks has no influence on me whatsoever - although he is quite astute. I like Will Young.

I like Austin (a lot). I cant stand Ruth, Daniel or Eowoweeaan, Rachel has her moments, Alexander sounds like loads of other accomplished singers, but is boring, Laura has a brilliant voice, the group is good but not memorable, and last, but not least, little Diane is refreshingly different and very good.

These are my opinions, not based on anything else. I would rather just watch the acts and not have to listen to all the rubbish that the judges (especially Louis) spout.

Well said Loftie..... It's because some people can't think for themselves and listen to the judges that there is such dross left in the show. I don't need Simon Cowell or any other judge for that matter to tell me who is good, I was blessed with something quite special... It's called 'a pair of ears', and I can hear who is good and who sings flat or off key. When it comes down to it, you just need to ask yourself one question.... Would you BUY one of their CD's? Whilst Diana is refreshing, her voice is not my cup of tea and after one song I've had enough. Austin has a very good voice and I don't think we have heard the last from him.

Yes, my ears are my judges too!! If you are a musical person it is very easy to pick up bum notes and my goodness that Eoaoaogghan guy has more than his fair share of them, with Daniel not far behind!!

Every week I hear the judges saying how wonderful Eaoaogyhahnnn is and just sit there amazed...........

You and me both Loftie..... It's just a pity that so many 'small minded' people listen to the judges. I am more and more convinced that its fixed in some way. I read in paper that people were trying to vote for Austin and couldn't get thro. I think its about time these phone ins were banned but I can't see an altewrnative really.

I don't allow anyone to sway me either debbz, let alone the judges on the x-factor!

As I said earlier, I just can't watch all hype of the show itself - I pop in & out to listen to the singers (some so called).

Coming from a musical background, I can usually tell within the first few notes whether or not they're going to be 'up to par'! It's just a shame some of the general public & judges can't!
