I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free - originally recorded in instrumental form by Billy Taylor (whose version became famous as the theme to Film 72, 73, 74 etc etc). Also famously recorded in vocal form by Nina Simone, The Lighthouse Family (as mercury says) and sung in the advert by Sharleen Hector.

It was released by the Lighthouse Family as part of their double-A side release "Free" / "One" about 3 years back. Mercury is not wrong!

Her name is Sharlene Hector and it would seem she has titled it "I Wish".
