guitar newbie needs advice

hi, im about to try and learn to play the acoustic guitar ,was going to buy a cheap tuner off of ebay ,ive found 3 at roughly the same price but im not sure which on would be the better buy, any advice appreciated..

Well, the Korg is arguably the better make.  I have a Korg one but it has LED lights (it's about 14 years old).

Having said that, I do like the layout of the Kwik Tune.  Never heard of that make, but since I already have one I obviously haven't been keeping up-to-date with them!

In all honesty any digital one will be good.  Just ensure it has a built in mic and also line in/out sockets.

I would go with the korg: good reliable make, good reviews on http://www.harmony-central.com but not chromatic. Still, you can tune your guitar flat with it!
why not go to a local music shop and buy a set of pitch pipes, cheaper and nothing to go wrong - that way if you don't like playing the guitar you will not have spent loads of money - erica
