Hello all, bit early but want to find a good prezzie for xmas for my dad, he's a lover of whisky although he will only get the finest and drink at special occassions.
I have just found out there is something of a whisky festival every year and I was hoping someone might have more info as to how I'd go about getting tickets for this event for him.

alternatively, many of the distilleries do guided tours - you could plan a weekend away to include a couple and maybe a cooperage as well to see how the barrels are made.
