A Good Gift
13 Answers
My mom is turning 44 and I have to get her something. She doesn't have very many hobbies, but she reads Harlequins, but she can get those any time. Is there a practical gift for women her age and if anyone has any idea could they please let me know? Thank you! Three cheers for march break!

I hate to receive toiletries (I like to choose my own fragrances etc. or chocolates, because the rest of the family eat them!) - hope this helps in some way.
Have you thought about a Spa weekend or even a red letter day experience www.redletterday.co.uk. Shopping spree's in London are always a good idea with a nice lunch somewhere!
I know this is not at all exciting, but for Christmas I bought my Mum a new dressing gown. She'd struggled on with the same one for 22 years with never a thought of getting a new one even though it was really tatty and she uses it every day so I bought her a good quality fleecy new one and she was really touched. I think sometimes Mums don't get out of the habit of making do and for someone to notice and replace something they've put up with a long time is something they appreciate.
i bought my mum some liquers and olive oil from vomfass. i could choose what bottle to put the liquer in. I thought a heart shaped bottle was good for mothers day and i got my girlfriends mum a ladies shoe.
