If you are an employee rather than a worker (i.e. you have a contract and are paid on payroll with tax and deductions rather than as a self employed), then statutory redundancy pay is as follows:
The amount of redundancy pay will be calculated as �
* 0.5 week�s pay for each full year of service where age during year less than 22
* 1.0 week�s pay for each full year of service where age during year is 22 or above, but less than 41
* 1.5 weeks� pay for each full year of service where age during year is 41+
Your company may offer enhanced terms, but this is a statutory minimum.
