I don't know anything about the Hamlyn Dictionary but I was lucky enough to win a copy of Chambers Crossword Dictionary worth �25 and it is brilliant. If you put it into your search engine you will find it at a much more reasonable price, and I guarantee you will love it.

Is the the one which I have with the purple cover ?
Lists of things rather than an actual dictionary ?
EG Birds ,plants ,composers etc etc .
Several on Ebay or Amazon (from a penny ) +P&P from UKsellers .If you put the ISBN into Amazon it comes up straight away.
