Collagen wrinkle cream

Anyone used one of the (many) collagen enhanced wrinkle filler- in -errs? If so do they work for light wrinkles....

PS - now no jokes about poly filler / cement etc...though I know the jokes are many :-)

Fillers these days are not Collagen based as such, but Hyaluronic Acid, which is found naturally in the body and plumps up sunken and wrinkled areas, acting like temporary scaffolding.

I've had Juvederm injected into my Naso Labial lines (Nose to mouth lines) and the results were dramatic. However, the effects only last from 3 to 9 months and each vial costs about �360 and should only be administered by a medically trained professional.

If you have crows feet around the eyes and forehead lines and furrows, Botox can work very well for these areas. Fillers tend to be used more around the mouth areas, cheeks and nose to mouth lines.

It was Wrinkle Cream you were interested in, and not injectable fillers, I imagine. If so, Tre-Aktiline from Boots the Chemist, is very good, at around �26.

Collagen Creams do not work, unless you were to get it on prescription, which means it would contain a much higher level of Collagen and in turn would cause other problems to your skin, making it much more sensitive especially to Ultraviolet light.
