remembering them...
8 Answers
Hello all,
just came back from the dentist and was on the bus at 11.00. the driver stopped the bus and announced that the bus would not be running for 2 mins. out of respect for remembrance day.
I was well impressed with this and noticed that a lot of people stood still in the street.
has anyone else had any similar experiences today.
I even thanked the driver when I got off the bus for doing this. now I know I am turning into my mum....:-)

The police came out and stood in silence and the whole of town just came to a standstill.....It was awesome, and as the last chime of the clock went, a load of pigeons flew off and people smiled at this. was it symbolic??
