Correct, the "i" is spoofed. A dirty trick.

It is one thing to sign up as, say China Dolly, a wind-up which is discernibly different, but to use a name that is so similar to the original as to require examination of the HTML is a low low trick.

How do you recognise the spoofed letters though?

Someone has signed up under CDs name, posted once when there isn't many ABers about then left it 2 weeks before re-appearing hence the grey name.

if you copy the text and then paste it into a word document its easy to see the difference.
type the same word again and then change both to something like wingdings and youll see that there is a different letter in there somewhere. In this case the "i" is different

View/Page source (or Ctrl-U). Do a find of the string "UName", and even if you are not sure what is going on, it is easy to see that it is a "funny" i.

As far as I was aware, the sign-up process was attended to a while ago, so this username may have been laying dormant for quite a while.
