is there any reason why they shouldn't, ?
No unless they are using it is an opportunity to make an inappropriate political statement.
What is an inappropriate political statement?

I suspect that anything the BNP said politically would be regarded as inappropriate, just because they are the BNP, never mind any considerations of whether it made any sense.

They laid a wreath, good.
Ok, no political statements 'at all'.

redhead, I think someone may be implying that it is innapropriate for the BNP to lay wreaths, in rememberance of men who fought against fascism, when in fact they are reputed to be fascists themselves,
Although, remembrance day is not just for the second world war I know,
Anyway, I think it is very wrong for us to squable amongst ourselves over such an issue,
SNP lay wreaths also, but no big deal
