With respect to Eoghan why does the panel think he is so good? He's ou of tune, has to rely on about fifteen backing singers to boost him and looks as if he's in a holoiday camp talent contest. Win or lose, I reckon hes already cutting a Cristmas album to fill 12-y-o stockings and make Simon a million quid.
Let's not kid ourselves - the music business has the accent on the second word, rather than the first.
If you remember that, all the bizarre voting, the odd choices by the public, and the extremely short time in the public eye for the 'winner' after the sereies ends, all make sense.
he looks young, too young! Maybe it's a sign of my own impending old age creeping up on me here but I can't bring myself to identify with a boy who sings about love and stuff when he's barely out of nappies.
You asked and then answered the question yourself.
I could never see the appeal of Gareth Gates*, nor Shane Ward, neither were the best singers on the program and it's the same with Eoghan. It's basically about their potential market and saleability.
Yes, I quite agree that Eoghan has'nt got that good voice & I
think Daniel is still in with the older ladies votes, he does have that lovely way about him though.
aahhh bless him. xx
Eogan is not that good but I think Simon looks on him as a sort of Irish Donny Osmand, ie very young and very marketable to a certain age group. The quality is usually dire but this year any four of the ladies are good enough to win. Its a shame Laura went out. Also Ruth will struggle simply because she does not have a city or region to vote for her.
