I'm getting sick of agreeing with Paul. I've been brought up in pubs and he is absolutely right.

it does depend on the type of bar.
I worked behind the bar of our local golf club for about 3 years - never met one decent chap. All hawhaw chinless wonders, misogynist golf bores, married perves or old blokes. The old blokes were randy old bu55ers; had quite a laugh with them, but as for romance? Forget it.

and, don't know about you sheri - but isn't it lovely finally having some time to yourself after all that work & all those years?

I don't regret having my kids for one minute, but I'm more than making up now for the early marriage/family scenario.

I cook what I want, slob around as much as I want, see who I want when I want. Want Want Want... bleedin' lovely!

having said that - I am unaware of karmagirl's circumstances. I don't know karma what age you are, whether you have children etc - I'm only speaking about my circumstances - I may think different otherwise.
