What lifts you up? or what makes you feel better? Chocolate? Shopping? I realised the other day that when its time of the month and I'm wearing my big apple gatherers that dont match my bras that I really dont need to, and that wearing matching sexy knickers make me feel so much better at that time. Any weird things you do to cheer yourself up.

oh natalie, the joys of nursery bugs, little CRX got them all over a space of 6 months and he didnt even go to nursery!
Now he brings them back for baby CRX lol
I hope shes back to her usual self soon hun

but having a smear does redcrx????
4getmenot - yes, did mean a big fat reefa.
But no - did not mean 'charlie' - I meant the real Bob Marley as in reggae music - No Woman No Cry, One Love, Redemption 'n all that.

I have never, & have no desire to, indulge in the old charlie snortie coke job.
ah but accidents and child birth are things you have no real choice over. If a babys coming out you cant stop it :)
Red, I am sure she will be back to her old self soon. Hope yours are both doing well xx

4get, you still have a certain amount of dignity with a smear - your bottom half is covered with a paper towel thingy and in a few seconds it is all over. I had one last week and it took me longer to get undressed than it did to actually do the deed!

I had one too last week nat, I was talking to red she says after going through childbirth etc you dont care about being seen in mismatched underwear, yet after showing her bits off through childbirth she still wont have a smear
Can I just say that in all my years of nursing , and all the babies I've delivered , I've never taken note of any ladies daks , matching or not I wouldn't know , or mind :-)x
Zac.
That shocked even me....

would you notice if they were wearing boxers mamma?
it's just that... you know... stuff 'n secretions 'n all that... sometimes... well, i'm sort of shocked - it made me laugh though. The audacity of it...
a gallon of ale
Surely most women aren't wearing kecks when they are in labour though as I would imagine they'd only be a hindrance.

I like those Rab C Nesbitt style string ones you get once you've given birth. now if onlyI could get a matching bra to those and I'd be well away.

Zacsmaster, you are only upset because you were drawn in by "sexy underwear".

Apologies if I did shock or offend - I forget that some people get sqeaumish about these things ;-D
Probably not hun , I've had to peel tight leggings off someone , boxers would be a breeze . I wouldn't care what they were wearing or what colour , as long as they come off so I can see to the necessary end as well .lol
Question Author
string pants?? What like string vest?? But surely after you've given birth you want something a bit thicker? Would be a bit like a sieve
Well not really as you have.... zacsmaster avert your eyes......ahem.... you have your maternity pad stuck down there.
Question Author
oh so why string pants can they not afford whole ones?
I have no idea. I am sure I'm not making it up, I'm positive that I remember them putting some horrible string type pants on me but when I came to I swapped them for my own enormous Primark pants instead.

Maybe Red or someone else can recall something similar.
