ive just had an email notification from ticketmaster that the concert i was off to see on 13th dec has been postponed to May ! not only that but its now a wednesday night (so i cant get 2 days off work and a babysitter) and ive already paid for the hotel (non-refundable) to stay on the grounds of the NEC when i have no reason to be there other than to see Counting Crows!!!!

argh!!!! just want to let off steam, dont expect replies :)

Try your luck with the hotel. Forward on the email and as you've given plenty of notice they may refund.

You could write to Ticketmaster charging the hotel room to them?! (sorry not much help but it's what I'd do if they still wouldn't cancel after trying ummm's reply first!)

Im unlikely to sell tickets at more than face value as I think they are now on sale for the May gig.

on the bands site they state reason for cencelling tour is that with the credit cruch people cant afford to pay out for gigs at the moment!
think i may ask them to pay for my flipping hotel then!!!!
