Went to Londonburg at the weekend - the BF took me to see a musical as a belated birthday treat. We went to see Wicked - absolutely brill. I would recommend it to anyone.

I just have to share this in case anyone is thinking of going to a musical soon and is unsure of what to go and see. My ears are still buzzing...

I don't like twee musicals - I can't stand The Sound of Music type things, but this really was quite different. I asked for recommendations about 3 weeks ago cos I couldn't make my mind up which one to see - so thanks to all those who recommended this one. It was great.
it was top of my list of must sees but think Oliver must come first!

The only musical I would contemplate going to see would be Westside Story. Great lyrics, fantastic score & even better .... no kids!!!
Have any of you fellow ABers seen High School Musical 3 at the flicks yet? I am considering it, but not sure if it would be worth the time and effort to see it.

there were no kids in Wicked. Just a green wicked witch who isn't really wicked, and very agile hobgoblins with wings.
