Just trying to prove a point.How many seats does a ford focus have.A girl i know claims she can only carry 2 people in the back of her ford focus and claims she is only insured to carry a total of 4 people.Ive told her the car can carry a total of 5 people including the driver.she is just being aukward because she wont give some people a lift to a social night out.I know this is a stupid question ,but just want to show her we all are not stupid,i told her i have never come across an insurance company saying she can only have 4 people in the car.

Appreciate.your answers but this girl gets loads of things done for her by the people she is trying to get out of giving a lift to ,but when it comes to returning favours its a different matter.

Nobody ever asks me to drive, cos I always get trolleyed, dump the car, and we have to get a cab.

Plus my car only has 2 seats.

Its not me that wants the lift.wouldnt ride in a ford focus,would rather walk.just trying to prove she is an aukward person.honestly.she gets loads of things done for her by the people that she could take to the evening out.but as there has been no offer to contribute to fuel she has taken this stance.the problem is the girls that wanted the lift were going to pay for all the fuel costs.its not my problem i was just trying to show how stupid she is saying her car is only insured for 4 people,a feeble excuse to not want to do someone a favour.

You girls do make me laugh.Love your comments.Just to answer what car i drive,and not being clever or big headed.I have 4 mercs. 2 new E280 cdi's 1 C220 Cdi. and one old banger P reg 22o Diesel.After all i am an old fogie.worked hard all my life for nice things and help people as much as i can,and cant abbied mean selfish people that come out with selfish attitudes.Before any one says any thing I am giving 4 people a lift to this do,and going miles out my way to do it.

Thanks for reply.Because of this aukward girl,I will do 2 x 60 mile round trips so the girls that want to go to the ball can go and have a drink and a good night out.Its not a problem to me ,these teenagers need to enjoy life now ,safely and if i can help i will.Anyone want to go to chatterbank ,lets not take up space on this motoring section.

I own a new focus and it has 5 seat belts however my friends owns a focus rs and i think it only has 4.

I know the likes of ford ka's and new minis and plenty of other new smallish cars only have 2 belts in the back but if its a run of the mill focus i think she's prob speaking out her...
