Have just moved into new premises and found rust stains (from metal or iron chairs) on light coloured limestone tiles in the conservatory.

Would like to know preferably if there is a method using natural chemicals like vinegar or lemon.
If not what commercial cleaner is recommended.

Am afraid of damaging the tiles.

Thanks in anticipation

I successfully used eucalyptus oil to remove rust from white cotton clothes some years ago. The oil was supplied by an old fashioned chemist. Not sure where you could buy the oil now, or if it would work but it may be worth a try. Do you have any spare tiles you could try it on first?
