I know I should probably have posted this in media and tv, but I thought I'd get a better response in CB. I want to buy a dvd as a joint xmas pressie for my kids, girl 11, 2 boys 7 & 4. I thought about kung fu panda or wall-e. Has anyone seen either of them and which one would be better. Or, can you recommend any others that are fairly recent? Thx for any help. mumof3 x

Thnx for replies. atsgran if both you and your 26 yr old like kung fu panda then it's obviously a real family film to suit all ages. That's what I want. Siraven-thanks for the info. My kids wouldn't wait that long if a film wasn't funny.

Oh yes I'd forgotten about that one garner. They watched the lion, the witch etc and loved that- so that might be an option. This may end up with buying more than one dvd lol.

Thx for that wingnut-that's a good buy.
If you are looking for other ideas, the studio gibli movies are good - my neighbour tortoro or spirited away or kiki's delivery service. Or you could go really retro - Home alone, batteries not included, honey I shrunk the kids etc
Wall-E, good stuff for adults and kids
