no not at all.
LMAO, why shouldn't he have been allowed?

You do not need a passport to travel between NI and the UK. Easyjet just needed to ID him, and as he is on TV and Irish then of course they know it is him on the ticket in his hand, don't they?

Photographic id suffices. As the others have said no need for a passport.

and no need for The Sun either...

Reading between the (very few) lines it appears he was allowed to fly with no photo ID - a clear breach of the rules.

They know it's him because they've seen him on TV, therefore no celebrity need ever bother themselves with a passport or equivalent ID. Classic!
If that is the case then I agree it shouldn't have been allowed.
Dunno, think the Sun may have mentioned that for

sensationalism because thats the kind of paper they are. They are making the point about no passport, no where do they mention no ID. I thought the ID think was an airline ruling to cover them selves, not law. They want to make sure you are who you say who are and having your name shouted from the TV every weekend just about quantifies as ID lol
excuse typo's - horrendous
Appearing on TV in no way qualifies as ID. Another classic!
i know it doesn't *rolls eyes* was tongue in cheek , hence the lol on the end
LOL doesn't mean tongue in cheek.

Funnily enough TIC does.
TIC stands for Tongue In Cheek
:)
This should have never have happened... Just because they're famous doesn't mean they can do what they like. :I
