anti snoring device

my husband snores.

BADLY.

any ideas of an anti snoring device that WORKS?


(besides holding a pillow over his face until he stops breathing :-)

Breathe Right strips might help him - these are like plasters one wears across the nose at night to dilate the nostrils. You can buy them in the chemist and in larger supermarkets. They come in two sizes - small and medium/large. Unless he has a really small nose, go for the medium/large.

My hubby is the same evedawn.....know what you mean about the pillow...lol he uses a spray called 'STOP SNORING' It's not cheap at around �11 for 19ml but we get his from boots when they have 3for2 offers on. just spray to back of throat before going to bed and you should get a decent nights kip... good luck

Hit him, doesnt always work but it makes me feel better! I havnt found a solution yet so might try some of the ides posted x

There is an advert in the November SAGA magazine (page 161) for an anti-snorind device. Not much bigger than a wristwatch, the Relax Snore Stopper triggers a slight impulse when it detects a snore, stimulating the sleeper to change position. Friend of mine (female window rattler) was prescibed on national health a mouth guard that works !! not the same as the ones buyable thro sunday newspapers . First stop is GP who can refer to consultant....she was ready for op to put an end of snoring for partners sake.

Zip his lips.....with snoring is a huge gaping mouth! Try shutting his mouth.

a very gentle poke may do the trick , if that doesnt work, just bash his head in !!
We sleep in sperate bedrooms now, because he says that I snore , hahaha. so -- go in another room evedawn

I had the same problem with my BF, I bought a snore ring off ebay, its a ring with two bumps on the inside ( for the accupressure point on the side of the little finger) when he wears this he does still snore but a lot lot quieter....more like breathing heavily.......I think they sell something similar in boots
